Influenza A(H1N1) is The Worst Global Crisis -- How Would You Prepare For It?

On June 11, WHO decided to raise the level of influenza pandemic alert from phase 5 to phase 6, the highest level, saying the H1N1 virus has spread to enough countries to be considered a global pandemic. This is the first global flu pandemic in 41 years.

Ever since the first case was confirmed in Hong Kong on May 1, , the government has raised the pandemic response level to "emergency" - the top level. On June 11, the Hong Kong government announced that a cluster of local human swine flu cases (without a link to someone who had traveled overseas) has already appeared, and ordered the closure of all elementary schools, kindergartens and day care centers for 14 days starting from June 12.

Our Company already has a pandemic contingency plan in place, and will be able to continue to operate and serve customers during the pandemic. Announcements will be made on this website.

Dr. Ng spoke in a Special Seminar "The Major War against Viruses -- Swine Flu" on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, and answered many questions from the audience. The number of people in the audience has broken all previous records for Wednesday night seminars!
