Terminal Liver Cancer Patient can Play Tennis

Mrs. L is a terminal liver cancer patient whose doctor told her in May 1999 that she had about one year to live.  It is now almost two years after her doctor had given up on treating her, but she is still alive and feeling well.  In August, 2000, she had so much energy that she could even play tennis!

When Mrs. L first contacted Dr. Gilbert Ng on Dec. 14, 1999, she wrote:
"Our friends...... have written to you regarding my health.  You have previously given advice to me about the dosage of Reishi, Ester C, and Coryceps ................ I have been taking them for one month since having chemotherapy for liver cancer.  The doctors have now given up treating me although they may give me another dose of chemo in the next few months.  I have a large primary liver tumor that is inoperable.  Do you have any further advice?  I am experiencing diarrhea now for the last 3 days."

The diarrhea that she experienced was part of the normal detoxification process called "healing crisis" which stopped after a few days.

3 months later (on Feb. 29, 2000), she wrote:
"By the way, I have been doing well.  Other than that bout of diarrhea that I wrote to you about, I have been free from other illnesses."

Her friend told us on Mar. 3, 2000:
"Rejuveno has made [Mrs. L] a firm believer.  She is doing pretty well and is swimming twice a week."

On Aug. 30, 2000, Mrs. L wrote:
"I have been doing well, able to be active and enjoying our summer with the kids.  I'm probably at my normal level of energy which is usually quite high!  I've even been playing tennis again (which I haven't had time for in the last 20 odd years)."

On Sep. 27, 2000, she wrote:
"I have been taking 16 capsules of Reishi, 8 of Cordyceps and 8,000mg of Ester C per day since Nov 1999.  My bloodwork and energy level is normal.  I started an experimental chemotherapy this Sept.  I had to decrease the Ester C to 2000mg per day on the advise of the oncologist, she was afraid that it would drop my platelet levels.  So far I have not experienced any of the side effects of the chemo but we are still in the early stages."
"I feel well and am well supported by prayers of our church family."

As of February 8, 2001, she continues to feel well and energetic.
